📓Obsessions: Vintage Halloween Home & Decor

This October, I’m pinning vintage Halloween decor that I can make with my 3 kids to get them off screens for at least an hour.

Our fridge could use some life, so I’m going to use some leftover craft supplies and make new magnets for the fridge.

We also have an old canvas I don’t like (sorry Hobby Lobby) that I could see being a really spooky family portrait.

If you want a home you love, start by gathering inspiration. But, have a goal in mind. See what I mean below.

3 Quick Tips for Newbies

1. Don’t pin something just because it’s pretty.

Ask yourself: Would I want to see this every day? Does it match how I want the room to feel?

2. Know your goals.

Do you want a house that feels like home, or a space to create content that doesn’t suck? No matter what, decide what you want to achieve, then go after it (with me!).

3. Mood before money.

Before even looking at budget, get crystal clear on the mood you’re trying to create. Are you going for cozy and layered? Bright and punchy? Minimal and airy? Practice your mood board skills before you spend a dime.

In the Meantime…

Head to my Pinterest board [October] to see what I’m loving.

Then, CREATE YOUR OWN PIN BOARD!

  1. Gather inspiration for the room you chose.

2. Find 3-4 inspo pics to capture the style and vibe of the space.

3 .Share what you collected with me, and I’ll tell you what to do next.

Because why the hell not?

Nicole
