Be Happy You’re Home – Sacramento Area
Be Happy You’re Home is looking for reliable, physically capable Home Transition Assistants to support client moving, packing, assembly, and transition days throughout the Sacramento area.
This role focuses on the physical side of helping clients transition from one home to another safely, efficiently, and with care.
This is the entry-level field position within BHYH and is ideal for someone who:
works hard
stays calm under pressure
enjoys organization and problem-solving
takes pride in handling belongings carefully
can work efficiently in changing environments
Responsibilities
Packing and unpacking client belongings
Loading and unloading moving items safely
Furniture assembly and disassembly
Protecting furniture and fragile items
Organizing boxes and staging areas
Maintaining clean and efficient workspaces
Supporting team setup and breakdown
Requirements
Previous residential moving experience preferred
Understanding of safe packing and moving procedures
Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly with or without reasonable accommodation
Reliable transportation
Strong work ethic and professionalism
Comfortable working inside clients’ homes
Ability to stay organized in fast-paced environments
