The Home Setup Assistant is a Level 2 field role within BHYH focused on helping transform homes after the move is complete.

This role supports organization, setup, styling assistance, room functionality, and project logistics to help create calm, welcoming spaces for clients during major life transitions.

This position may be earned through promotion from the Home Transition Assistant role or through equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Space setup and organization

  • Assisting with room resets and styling

  • Hanging basic decor and wall items

  • Organizing rooms and systems

  • Maintaining organization during projects

  • Supporting client move days and install days

  • Assisting with project logistics and flow

  • Assisting with furniture placement and layout

  • Transporting lightweight project supplies

Requirements

  • Prior BHYH field experience OR equivalent experience

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and problem solve

  • Comfortable working directly with clients

  • Attention to detail and visual awareness

  • Positive, calm, professional attitude

  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to anticipate needs before being asked

  • Clean and organized working style

  • Comfortable adapting quickly during projects

Schedule + Pay

  • Part-time

  • Flexible scheduling

  • Sacramento-area travel required

  • Starting at approximately $30/hour depending on experience
